Dear Slatecarders,

In the 2008 election cycle, Slatecard helped raised more than $650,000 from grassroots supporters for the candidates and committees they support. That success was on par with our expectations for that cycle and we want to thank all of those who trusted in us and our vision for helping us reach this goal.

Since then, the Slatecard team and tool have been undergoing changes and has yet to re-launch in its full capacity. Our plan was to have the tool up-and-running by now, but it's taken quite a bit longer than expected.

Running Slatecard requires a team of behind-the-scenes experts like lawyers and FEC compliance specialists to help ensure that the organization runs smoothly. We've been working with these entities as quickly as possible to move forward in order to make an impact on the 2010 election cycle.

Our goal remains to re-launch as soon as possible and are working to do just that. We intend to be at full speed this spring and you'll be one of the first to know when that happens.
