Did you see the YouTube/CNN Debate?
I was down in St. Petersburg, Florida for it and I was honored to have a seat inside the Mahaffey Theater where you could really get a sense of the energy and enthusiasm in the room. I thought it was by far the best debate of the year.
And America agreed. In fact, the debate reached an estimated 4.5 million Americans, a record for this primary cycle. And with nearly 5,000 questions submitted -- 2,000 more than the Democrats -- it is clear that we are loving the chance to participate in democracy.
I'm extremely proud of our Republican candidates for participating in this Revolutionary debate format. Their efforts should be applauded by all Republicans as their participation will send a clear signal to all Republican candidates that they too should be using modern technologies to effectively communicate directly with us.
But as most of you are probably aware, that's not all that happened at this debate.
In fact, CNN did a great job of proving that liberal media bias is alive and well. In the most glaring example, a questioner affiliated with the Hillary Clinton campaign was given a soapbox to berate the Republican candidates at the debate -- when even a cursory web search of the individual would have revealed his clear conflict of interest. Unfortunately, the ground covered in this debate by our candidates and the American people is getting lost in the noise due to the actions of CNN and their liberal allies.
We need to stand up, together, and show our support for the Republican candidates.
Our Republicans were brave to try this new format, and even though the deck was stacked against them, they played the hand they were dealt, and did so well. Heck, as Republicans, we're used to persevering in the face of liberal media bias!
And because of their collective efforts, a Republican message was heard by 4.5 million Americans!
To show our support,
I'm asking you today to give a donation - $10, $25, $50, or more - to the candidate that you think won the debate.
After your contribution, make sure you give the "Expose Liberal Media Bias" issue badge to the candidate you support.
Together, you and I, we're making a difference.
