A tipster who was trying to embed his widget to his myspace profile helped identify a serious problem: Your Slatecard widget will not work properly on your MySpace profile.

While your Slatecard widget will embed and work properly, the links to "Contribute" and "Build your own Slatecard," which you hope your network will click, will not open when clicked.

The problem has been noted at the popular blog, Mashable, as MySpace's attempt to limit the way flash-based plugins work.

Basically MySpace has blocked flash plugins (Slatecard, YouTube, etc.) from allowing people to link to an external site. Unfortunately, there's no way to bypass this on our end.

The only thing we can ask you to do is add HTML tags directly under your widget like this:
