Serving in his second term in the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Mike Conaway has earned the reputation as “a voice of reason” in Washington. Mike currently serves on the House Agriculture, Armed Services, Budget and Republican Policy Committees. In 2006, he hosted the only House Agriculture Committee Farm Bill hearing in Texas in San Angelo and will continue to be a leader for the Texas agriculture community.
A native Texan, Mike grew up in Odessa and graduated from Odessa Permian High School in. He earned a BBA degree in Accounting from Texas A & M University-Commerce in 1970.
An ordained deacon in the Baptist Church, Mike and Suzanne have four children and seven grandchildren.
